City of Palm Coast Cancels Starlight Parade Due to Hazardous Weather Forecast

The City of Palm Coast announces the cancellation of the annual Starlight Parade scheduled for this evening due to a forecast of heavy rain and potentially hazardous weather conditions. The latest reports indicate reduced visibility is likely along the parade route, creating unsafe conditions for parade floats, walkers, first responders, and spectators.

Due to pre-planned staffing, road closure operations, and other holiday events already scheduled, the Starlight Parade cannot be rescheduled this season.

Although the parade is canceled, Fantasy Lights and a selection of local food trucks will still be available in Central Park this afternoon and evening. Residents are welcome to stop by to enjoy the light displays presented by the Rotary Club of Flagler County and support local vendors as conditions allow.

The City invites the community to come together next weekend for the 42nd Annual Holiday Boat Parade on Saturday, December 13, along the Intracoastal Waterway.

Planning for the 2026 Starlight Parade is already underway, and the City looks forward to welcoming residents and visitors back to this beloved event next year.
