Partnering with numerous local establishments, Palm Coast is thrilled to present the ‘Be Local Buy Local’ Holiday Gift & Dining Guide for 2023. This guide is a festively designed, digital catalog that highlights exclusive promotions, fostering community engagement and support.

Shopping locally plays a pivotal role in sustaining Palm Coast's economy. Even a modest $25 spent per Palm Coast resident at local stores in a single day could inject nearly $1.5 million into the community's economy.

Supporting local businesses not only enriches city offerings but also aids in their growth, resulting in increased job opportunities within Palm Coast.

Additionally, each purchase made within Palm Coast contributes to essential community projects. A share of the sales tax is reinvested into initiatives such as park and trail enhancements, road improvements, and streetlight installations. These efforts also help in maintaining lower property taxes for residents.

Fueling these initiatives are three primary taxes: the Half-cent sales tax, local option fuel tax, and small county surtax. In the last fiscal year, Palm Coast accumulated $10.37 million in combined sales taxes from these sources.

The ‘Be Local Buy Local’ Holiday Gift & Dining Guide 2023 is a valuable resource that guides shoppers towards supporting local options this holiday season. For more information about the ‘Be Local Buy Local’ initiative, visit palmcoast.gov/belocalbuylocal.
