Restroom

The Palm Coast Aquatics Center is home to the Frieda Zamba swimming pool, an outdoor, heated amenity for residents of all ages and abilities.

Our pool is staffed with professionally trained lifeguards to ensure the safest atmosphere possible. Our certified swim instructors and coaches teach a variety of swim lessons, as well as swimmer development programs.

The pool deck has 4 pavilions with picnic tables that are seasonally available for reservation. The facility has a small classroom that is available for meetings, small programs, or indoor events.

The City pool is named for local surfing legend, Frieda Zamba, a four-time world surfing champion from Flagler Beach. Zamba, whose surfing blurred the edges between male and female wave riders, is regarded by many as the greatest female surfer of all time.

Swim Development

For swimmers looking to improve their skills in a team atmosphere, the Palm Coast Aquatics Center offers swimming development programs like our non-competitive Youth Swim Team, the Palm Coast Porpoises, and the Palm Coast Masters Swim Club, the Palm Coast Pirhanas. Both programs are coached by certified professionals.

Learn to Swim Lessons

Swim lessons are crucial for anyone, at any age. Swim lessons reduce the risk of drowning and improve water safety skills. They can create a love and respect for the water. Our American Red Cross-certified swimming instructors offer lessons for children 6 months and up all the way up to adults. Lessons are offered in group classes, for ages 6 months and up, or private lessons, for ages 4 years and up.
