The Lehigh Trailhead is situated along Flagler County's Lehigh Trail. This new amenity features lighted parking, a restroom building, community gardens, a small and large dog park, and access to Lehigh Trail.
Lehigh Trail parallels the Lehigh Canal for much of its length. It travels from U.S. 1 north of Bunnell and goes through Town Center and Graham Swamp Preserve, ending at Flagler County's Lehigh Trailhead on Colbert Lane. The trail runs east-west for 6.7 miles and is situated on the bed of an old railroad spur that connected the Lehigh Portland Cement Company to the Florida East Coast Railroad. The Lehigh Trail is owned and maintained by Flagler County. Please visit Flagler County's website for the most up-to-date information regarding trail updates, maintenance, and closures.
The Lehigh Trailhead features 18 community garden plots, 12 standard plots, and six elevated ADA-accessible plots. The plots are 4 feet by 10 feet. Gardeners must provide their own seeds, plants, and supplies, and all gardens must be organic, meaning no pesticides will be allowed. Compost bins are available for use at the park. Plots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and are $15 for a six-month term.
We are currently keeping a list of interested parties. To join the list, please call the Community Center front desk at 386-986-2323.

The Lehigh Trailhead offers separate spaces for both small and large dogs to play and socialize. We take great pride in keeping our parks in tip-top shape! This means performing regular maintenance. The Lehigh Trailhead dog parks will close on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. for regular, preventative maintenance. The James F. Holland Memorial Park dog parks will be open to accommodate these closures.
