This position will join the Stormwater Maintenance division as a member of a swale, ditch, or pipe maintenance crew. Depending on level of experience, candidates may be hired as MW, E01 or E02. All positions perform work related duties to include the installation, maintenance, and repair of the city stormwater system.
Maintenance Worker - Must possess a minimum of (2) years experience in grounds keeping and/or general maintenance.
Equipment Operator 1 - Must possess (11) months experience and operates light to heavy equipment and the ability to perform labor intensive work within difficult environmental conditions to include frequent lifting, pulling, and pushing of 50 lbs. Must possess a Class "B" CDL license.
Equipment Operator 11 - Must possess (3) years of light and heavy equipment operating experience including but not limited to operation of backhoe, front end loader, excavator, skid steer, gradall, etc. Must have the ability to perform labor-intensive work within difficult environmental conditions to include frequent lifting, pulling, and pushing of 50 lbs. Must possess a Class "A" CDL license.
Strong heavy equipment operator skills, underground utilities experience, and a current Class-A CDL are preferred, however in-house training can be provided.
