What is Code Enforcement?
Enforcement Services are provided in response to citizen complaints, but work efforts also include proactive enforcement. Compliance with adopted regulations is achieved through written notification ensuring proper notice and by providing reasonable time to bring the property into compliance. If necessary, enforcement may also be achieved through the issuance of civil citations or through actions ordered by the Code Enforcement Board. The Code Enforcement board has the ability to levy fines.
