What kind of swale maintenance am I responsible for as the owner?

Answer

The property owner is responsible to keep the swale area open to allow the stormwater runoff to flow freely. This includes mowing the swale area, clearing blockages from the swale and culvert pipe and removing any sediment that has gathered in front of the culvert pipe.
