The Palm Coast City Council meets regularly to discuss and vote on official City business. These meetings are open to the public, and Palm Coast residents are strongly encouraged to attend. Resolutions
The following resolutions will be presented:
- The Community Development Department will present a resolution to approve an interlocal agreement with Flagler County for the transfer of 5.15-acre parcel of county-owned land within the corporate limits of the City of Palm Coast to the City of Palm Coast for use as a public park along the Waterfront Park and Linear Park trail system. The land is being transferred to the City so it can be preserved as environmentally sensitive land and integrated into the Parks Master Plan. The City will cover closing costs, estimated at $8,000, using money from the Parks Impact Fee fund. Both trails are currently open to the public.
- The Engineering Department will present a resolution to approve $1.5 million to expand parking at the Indian Trails Sports Complex. The project will add 136 news spaces, 92 asphalt and 44 impervious, with the purpose of accommodating growing sports programs, year-round tournaments, and community events. The expansion will also serve as a potential staging area for emergency response. Construction will be handled by the City’s Public Works Department’s Special Projects Division and managed by the Stormwater and Engineering Department’s Parks and Facilities Division. The project would be funded thought the FY26 Recreation Impact Fee.
Consent
The following items will be presented for consent:
- The Public Works Department will present a resolution to approve a piggyback Sourcewell Contract #012825 with Orkin, LLC for pest control services. The contract will be effective from the approved date through March 2029 with three additional one-year renewals.
- The Stormwater and Engineering Department will present a resolution to approve piggyback Flagler County’s contract with A Morea Group, LLC and Central Florida Transport, LLC for road base materials and aggregates services as needed.
- The Stormwater and Engineering Department will present a resolution to approve a Master Service Agreement with Strickland Sod Farm, Inc. for sod materials and sod installation citywide on an as-needed basis.
- The Utility Department will present a resolution to approve a Sole Source agreement with TSC-Jacobs Florida, LLC for the purchase of WEMCO lime sludge recirculation pumps.
Public Comments will be opened at the beginning and end of the workshop in accordance with Section 286.0114, Florida Statutes, and pursuant to the City Council’s Meeting Policies and Procedures. Each speaker will approach the podium, provide his/her name, and may speak for up to 3 minutes.
Please note that proclamations are not scheduled for this specific meeting. Additionally, public comments on non-agenda items will be limited to 30 minutes at the beginning and end of each meeting. This schedule is subject to change due to holidays or other unforeseen circumstances.
