The City of Palm Coast is inviting residents to share their perspectives through the Palm Coast Community Survey, a community-wide effort designed to gather feedback on City services and overall quality of life. The results will help guide the City’s strategic planning efforts and ensure future priorities reflect what matters most to the community.

The survey provides residents with an opportunity to offer input on a wide range of topics, including public safety, infrastructure, utilities, mobility, community design, the natural environment, inclusivity, and civic engagement.

“Hearing directly from our residents is essential as we plan for Palm Coast’s future,” said City Manager Mike McGlothlin. “This survey gives us valuable insight into what we’re doing well, where we can improve, and how we can continue to maintain the quality of life our community values.”

The National Community Survey was developed by the National Research Center at Polco and is used by communities across the country to measure livability and resident satisfaction. The City of Palm Coast has been utilizing this tool since 2002. Survey results will help Palm Coast identify strengths, areas for improvement, and how the City compares to similar communities nationwide.

At the same time, Flagler County Government is conducting a similar community survey. Coordinating these efforts allows data to be shared and analyzed community-wide, creating a more comprehensive picture of resident priorities and experiences across Palm Coast and Flagler County.

Randomly selected households will receive survey invitations by mail over the next few weeks with instructions on how to participate. A broader community survey opportunity will also be available at the end of February, allowing more residents to share their feedback.

“The more voices we hear from, the better equipped we are to make informed decisions,” McGlothlin added. “Resident input plays a critical role in shaping our long-term goals and priorities.”

Residents are encouraged to stay tuned to the City of Palm Coast’s website and official social media channels for updates on survey availability and participation opportunities. More information about the survey is available at www.palmcoast.gov/about/community-survey.
