Update all General Notes, Specifications, Truss package, Bennett design statement, and other notes to reference to the current code version and sections. The current code version is the 2004 Florida Building Code - Residential (FRC 2004). Only some of the notes on the drawings have been updated to the current code. General Notes, Title Block, Roof Notes, etc still reference old code and/or old code sections. 2. Indicate on drawings what type of door is to be used for door from garage to house. Reference FRC 2004 Section R309.1. 3. Indicate on the drawing the construction methods to be used to meet the required separation of garage from house and attic. Reference FRC Section R309.2. 4. Indicate locations of attic access for upper roof section. 5. Indicate how access panel in garage will be constructed to comply with FRC Section R309.2 6. Provide detail as to how mechanical unit and ductwork will be constructed to comply with FRC Section 309.1.1. 7. Provide information for bond beam. 8. Provide interior bearing wall detail. 9. Lawrence Bennett Design statement memo lists ½" plywood to be used however, drawing A10 calls for 5/8" plywood. Please clarify what will be used. 10. Provide a bond beam transition detail. 11. Provide lintel information indicating size and reinforcing. Ideally this would be added to window and door schedule with a column for this. Example: "8F16-1B/1T". In addition add all masonry openings. 12. Provide header sizes for all openings in interior bearing walls. Include connectors/headers/fasteners, king/jack studs. 13. Provide information regarding filled cells. Indicate maximum spacing between cells. 14. Provide garage dormer framing information. 15. The truss layout submitted does not indicate attic storage over garage. In addition, the roof loading indicated does not meet code requirements for attic storage of 20 psf live load per FRC Table R301.5. Revise truss layout to show attic storage and revise roof loading information.
