| Note: Held By: CCOTE We received the Pool Master File Drawings revised 1/21/2007. A note has been added stating, "NFPA-70A05; 2005 National Electric Code excluding Article 80 shall be complied with." This note is on two sheets and is not clear. We cannot find article 80 in either NFPA 70 or NFPA 70A. Please clarify what Article is being referenced. There are no provisions for excluding portions of the code. If you would like to be added to the City Master File system for Pools then 2 copies of signed and sealed drawings are requried (the signed and sealed letter submitted is not acceptable). These drawings shall have the exclusion of NEC Article 80 removed from sheets 1 & 2. In addition a lot of screen packages identify the side attached cables that requrie a 6" thick slab and the pool drawing typically identify the standard 3-1/2" thick slab. If the 6" cable detail is the standard detail then why show a Type 1 footing as an option on the pool drawings? | |||
