| Note: Held By: SKNOPF CITY OF PALM COAST BUILDING DIVISION Comments on Resubmission of Permit Application #2007110404 (Wellfield #SW-125 @ 11 Sweetbay Ct A) 1/15/2008 The following items must be resolved in order to complete the Building Permit plan review. Electrical Comments: 1. Sheet E-05 Single Line Diagram: a. A Neutral is required on the primary side of a transformer if the secondary side requires a neutral. Both the 15KVA MPZ transformer and the 3KVA transformer in WPCP show voltage transforming to 120/240V 1Ph. Revise the following feeders to include a neutral: Disconnect to ATS, ATS to WPCP, WPCP to MPZ transformer, and WPCP to 3KVA transformer b. Generator feeder to ATS still requires an equipment grounding conductor. c. In Single Line Diagram, the Clouded area for removal of TS and PSH at SW-125 has left the wiring for those instruments on the plans, and it appears that the feeder from WPCP starter to SW-125 terminal cabinet is a motor cable in 2" AND 2-#14 in ¾". Review and verify if this low voltage wiring is required. 2. Sheet E-22: a. Grounding requirements for Generator are still not specified. Identify grounding conductor size and grounding electrode requirements per NEC 250.20(D) and 250.30. …………………………………………… Susan J. Knopf Plans Examiner City of Palm Coast - Building Division 2 Commerce Boulevard Palm Coast, Florida 32164-3216 [tel]: (386) 986-2463 [fax]: (386) 986-3781 [email]: sknopf@ci.palm-coast.fl.us | |||

| Note: Held By: SKNOPF Electrical Comments: 1. Sheet E-05: a. Provide bonding per NEC 250. b. Clarify equipment grounding conductor for feeders: 1) 225A Disconnect to ATS 2) Generator to ATS c. Please include 3KVA transformer load in load calculations d. Revise Load Calculations for Future LW-91 pump to reflect 60HP in lieu of 75HP per Well Designation table this sheet. e. This sheet reflects SW125 as 25HP pump. Sheet E-22 shows pump as 20HP. Please coordinate drawings. 2. Sheets E-05 and E-22: Provide grounding and bonding requirements for generator including grounding conductor size, grounding electrode requirements per NEC. 3. Sheet E-22: Provide grounding electrode requirements, ie; quantity, diameter and length per NEC. 4. Sheet E-23: a. Revise circuit L1-6 to include 180VA for each receptacle on each pole. Revise load calculations. 5. Sheet E-24: a. Detail 1 - Provide size of copper grounding conductor for gate or fence post grounding. b. Detail 2 - Provide grounding requirements for aluminum light poles per NEC. c. Detail 3 - Provide size of copper grounding conductor for RTU Antenna & Mast Installation. 6. 8-1/2" x 11" attached Riser a. 8-1/2" x 11" attached Riser does not match single Line Diagram Sheet E-05 for sequence of feeders and grounding requirements. Please coordinate these drawings. b. Riser this sheet has power source entering Service disconnect before Meter. Power source must pass thru Meter first. Riser this sheet shows Service ground developed at the Meter. Meter enclosure can be bonded, but Service ground is developed at the first means of disconnect, which would be the Service Disconnect. Please revise. |
