Electrical Comments: 1. A-1: Revise the Demand Load Calculation per NEC 220 and the following: a. Appliances and equipment loads (such as pedicure chairs, washers, dryers, water coolers, coffee makers, water heaters, exhaust fans, and steamers) cannot be included using the demand factors from NEC Table 220.44. See NEC 220.14(A) and NEC 422. b. Include items such as lighting and signs as continuous load (taken at 125% where minimum 3 hours continuous), as applicable. c. Include additional 25% of largest motor per NEC 220 and 430.24. d. Include continuous storage water heater as continuous load at 125% where 120 gallons or less per NEC 422.13. e.
