| Note: Irrigation Review #2012080393 1. Sheet L-1 shows “lawn” in the buffer area along Pine Lakes Parkway and near the corner. What type of lawn? Bahia, St. Augustine or Zoysia? If it is Bahia, it is not required to be irrigated. You would just need to show new bubblers installed on the new magnolia trees and palms. You can note that to say that these trees will have bubblers installed, and the as-built will reflect what zone they were tied into or if a new zone is created for it, with the pipe routing shown. How will the shrubs be irrigated in the landscape buffer and sign planting areas, as nothing was shown on the irrigation plan for this. Need to show head type, piping and location. 2. Need to show on the irrigation portion for the new zones to be added, the point of connection to the mainline, the lateral pipe line and proposed sizes as well as the new valve location for these additional zones. Note the gallon per minute demand of the new zones and the new zone number that will be added in the card for the controller. Show the symbol for a bubbler and show where it connects to the zone for all trees that are 3-1/2” caliper and larger and all palms (Queen palms are not required to have bubblers). 3. If the spray heads and rotor heads are to be the same as the ones on the original as-built plans, need to state so. However, please be advised that all new spray heads must be pressure compensating type heads. |
