| Note: 4-15-13 Landscape and Irrigation Inspection Bill Butler 1. Need to plant two oak trees on the east side of the site in the landscape buffer per the approved plan. Trees need to be a minimum of 3.5" caliper and 12-14' tall. 2. Add 30" tall shrubs along the west side of the FPL transformer to screen it from the parking area. Maintain a 3' clearance between the hedge and the transformer. Show transformer location and revised plantings on the as-builts. 3. All oak trees noted in the inspection with Dave and Ryan of Austin Outdoor need to have the co-dominant main leaders pruned so as to have one dominant leader. Subordinate prune as well as discussed and remove any broken branches. Make sure all cuts are made right at the branch collar without leaving a stub. 4. On the irrigation as-built need to show one more rotor on the zone that is in the east landscape buffer. 5. On the east side of the building, need to move the end strip head that is near the southeast corner of the building, further south so it includes the last viburnum shrub. 6. Need to add more dimensions for the gate valve and splice boxes at the southwest corner of the site as it is not clear where these boxes are with only one dimension (need two for each box). 7. A laminated card was prepared to be put in the irrigation controller that shows all zones for each property on the system. Need to make a copy of this card and incorporate it into the as-built irrigation plans. 8. Need signed and sealed as-built landscape and irrigation plans from the project landscape architect. |
