LDC Sec. 5.04.02 requires a 2-car garage for single family residences 1200 square feet or larger. A single car parking space is defined in Sec. 5.04 as 9 feet wide by 20 feet deep. The garage must still provide sufficient space to park two cars in the minimum size parking space after modification.
