If the canopy were to be installed as shown it would be right over the top of a 4" magnolia tree on the north side and the southwest corner post would be right at the edge of the relocated ligustrum hedge. If the canopy were to be moved further south to avoid the magnolia tree, the southwest corner post would require removal of the ligustrum hedge, which is not allowed. The canopy should be sized to fit in between the two existing magnolia trees on the north and south sides of the proposed canopy (show tree location on next submittal), allowing a minimum of 6' from the trunks to the edge of the canopy. The width needs to be shortened to fit, avoiding disturbance to the ligustrum hedge to the west. 2) Need to provide more dimensions for the corner posts. Suggest dimensioning off the back of the adjacent curb and existing trees. |
