| Note: 3/29/16 WMB 1) The removal and concrete proposed for the two parking lot landscape islands cannot be permitted. These are required vehicular use area (VUA) islands that originally had trees in them to meet the County Code when the site was developed. The trees were removed without a permit and must be replaced with 2 understory trees (crape myrtle, holly, bottle brush, tree ligustrum, etc), 30 gallon container size. 2) In my discussion with the owner on the phone, he indicated the reason for this was that he wanted to add more parking. It appears that it is possible to add more parking on the east side of the building, but I would suggest that you come in to discuss this with our Planning Staff. We regularly have pre-development meetings on Wednesday afternoons from 1:00-3:00. Please contact Jackie Gonzales for an appointment at 986-3753. There are a lot of other issues with this project and they can be discussed at this meeting. | |||
