| Note: 57 Town Court Landscape and Irrigation Inspection 8/17/18 1. Still need weeding on west side of the site and in several other areas as well. 2. Need one more shade tree in west buffer. Need to plant near the purple irrigation riser. 3. Need to spray out weeds and grass under the west viburnum hedge. In the fakahatchee plant beds plant with more fakahatchee to bring count to 600 (note, if plants are spaced 3’ on center, and the bed area is full, less than the 600 count shown on the plan will be acceptable and new count can be picked up on the as-built. Mulch the new planting’s with 2-3” of mulch. 4. By transformer, relocate one ligustrum and plant one more per plan where the gap is in the south side of the transformer. 5. The fakahatchee grass on west side of rear parking lot and add more plants at 3’ on Center and revise landscape as built for current number if more or less plants are needed. 6. Remove existing wax myrtle stumps in east landscape buffer and sod with Bahia sod. 7. Sod the mulched area shown to be lawn per the approved plan at the northeast corner of building or change this area to mulch on the as-built. 8. Remove loose dirt from top of magnolia tree rootball on east side of building and remulch keeping the mulch off the tree trunk. (Optional but suggested, stake the tree) 9. Check all shrubs to pull off any dirt from top of rootball and remulch keeping mulch off stems (check every plant!). 10. Need card in controller describing what zone operates what area of the siteNeed 4x 30 nozzle by propane tank. A 180-radius nozzle is there now and it is spraying the propane tank. 11. Replace one viburnum in west landscape buffer that is in poor condition and too small. Plant must be 24” tall. Also another one has died due to being too wet. Need to remove the dead plant, raise the bed with soil and replace plant and mulch bed. 12. The irrigation system was only run for zone 1 but zone 2 did not come on and due to all the issues the rest were not run as well. Contractor needs to go through entire system and confirm it is all operational, no breaks, clogs or leaks and that all plants and trees are being fully covered. 13. Will need a landscape as-built submitted prior to the next inspection noting the following. a) Some tree and shrub varieties differed from what the approved plan showed, but are acceptable and need to be changed on the as-built. b) The ixora plants are cold tender, but not in a required area so they are ok. c) Need to modify some bed lines and mulch was used instead of sod in some areas (see comment #7). d) Junipers not picked up at base of some of the magnolia trees. e) Need to delineate the parking lot island curbs, as they did not plot out on the approved plan that was submitted and approved. 14. New comment based on a drive by inspection in mid-July- The magnolia tree that was replaced along the front of the buildings has died and was replaced. But now, two more n the front of the buildings have died and need to be replaced. 15. New comments since last inspection: A) Replace one dead podocarpus on the west side of the propane tank B) Replace one missing podocarpus in the east landscape buffer where there is a gap of more than 3’ between center of the two adjacent shrubs. C) Notify tenants or customers with on-site signage that parking is prohibited on the sidewalks in front of the building. D) Call Waste Pro to have them put the dumpster inside the existing dumpster enclosure. Call Bill Butler at 986-3760 for reinspection after the as-builts have been submitted by the project landscape architect, Bob Dickinson. | |||
