As with all silt fence, the site contractor will need to keep a constant watch,especially after rain events and is responsible for the functioning value of this barrier protection. This will be an on going inspection and repairs noted /observed need to be corrected ASAP.

Jerry yesterday and Barry today who spoke with Josh where I stated this entrance will probably require high maintanence due to close proximity to US 1 and small nature of the site especially the wet areas.It was stated at the preconstruction meeting held yesterday that the use of cattle gates or the like would benefit ,and that Josh was planning on trying to use.Possibly at both ends of the construction entrance would be helpfull Also,some more rock as discussed with Barry on site would help as well. It will be the responsibility of the site contractor to keep a constant watch and maintain accordingly. Also, please make sure none of the constuction rock gets onto US 1 roadway. This will be an on going inspection and requires to be functionalat all times and repaired if necessary ASAP.
