Note: On this date I spoke with the homeowner at this permitted address. She reported that this project is nearing one year since it started. This project appears to be at about half completed. The disturbed unprotected soil is now heavily eroding on the bank near the seawall area. There is construction debris and trash laying in the yard. The owner reports there has been very little work completed in recent months. She also reported that the same contractor installed a boat lift for them at this address. There is a heavy build up of silt under the lift and it keeps them from lowering the boat into the water or using the lift. According to the homeowner report it appears that the contractor has abandoned this project. He has been telling her the city is holding him up on a permit to repair damage to the neighboring seawall. There is no delay at this time with the Building Department. It appears the permit was only recently submitted within the past week.
