Dimensions are still inconsistent - please refer to the following pages: The "Boathouse Plan View" depicts the boatslip portion of the project to be 12' with a 1' cantilever - for a total of 13' projection into waterbody. The two pages labeled "Site Plan" and "Site Plan Boat House" both depict a roof that is 15' wide - the roof cannot exceed the 13' projection into the waterbody which encompasses the boat slip with cantilever walkway. 3. The survey (what zoning considers the "site plan" and the document that zoning will stamp once it is approved) must show the proposed improvements drawn AS THEY ARE PROPOSED. The shape and configuratioin (and of course the dimensions and setbacks) must be the same as the construction plans.

If a boat house w/roof is being constructed, the following standards must be followed: Roofs.a.Roofs over docks and lifts shall be a maximum height of 13 feet above seawall cap for saltwater canals and above the deck for freshwater canals.b.Roofs shall be constructed with the same material and of the same color as the principal structure adjacent to the waterbody.c.All roofs shall be "Hip" style roofs.d.All roofs shall be constructed with a minimum 4½:12 pitch.e.For roofed structures on freshwater canals, the size of a roof shall not be greater than 12 feet by 14 feet and the roof overhang shall not exceed two feet.f.The maximum length of roofs located over a dock slip, dock lift, or water on saltwater canals shall be 26 feet of dock roof for the first 60 feet of property frontage, plus four feet of roof length for every five feet of property frontage thereafter, not to exceed 46 feet. 3. Plans must depict all dimensions of proposed improvements to property. 4. Site plan must accurately depict ALL proposed and existing improvents to property. Docks/boathouse must be drawn as will be constructed (shape and location) and include all dimensions and setbacks to property lines which must total the 85' water frontage on this property. 5. License Agreement for Salt Water Access is required. This document must be signed by all persons on deed to property, witnessed and notarized and the original document must be submitter. City staff will prepare the referenced exhibits.
