| Note: Released By: PBUCKLEY Contractor spoke with Fred about this permit after receiving an automatic notification the permit is set to expire. Contractor stated no new gas piping has been installed as part of this water heater installation and the system was installed in 2017 by a separate contractor. There is a permit record for a 120 gallon LPG tank and gas piping system serving an outdoor BBQ, outdoor fireplace and gas range but no indication of a line installed for a future WH. I agreed to result this plan review and let the inspector determine whether the gas piping system is suitable for the water heater and if not then to require a revision to the permit to modify the gas piping system to include the new WH. The gas piping diagram approved with the LPG tank installation in 2017 indicates a half inch piping system which appears to be undersized for adding any additional equipment so it is unlikely they stem was initially set-up for a WH. Inspection will determine what needs to occur next. I will speak with the plumbing inspector before inspection so he is aware of the situation and current gas line configuration. | |||
