Note: Held By: TDOAK As Per Land Development Code 4.01.03.B. Attached Garages: 1. Shall have a maximum depth of 30’. 2. Shall not exceed 50 percent of the total living area of the principal dwelling. The existing garage is legally non-conforming in that is exceeds the maximum depth that is allowed by this Land Development Code. Legal non-conformities cannot be made larger. Also, the living area of the home is 1249 square feet which would allow a garage that is a total of 624 square feet in order not the exceed the 50 percent maximum as noted in #2 above. There is an existing garage that totals 424 square feet and you are proposing to add another 400 square feet of garage.
