Note: Held By: PBUCKLEY Permit application and confirmation from CSS license holder, Mr. Dan Davis, indicate this permit is for electrical work only associated with the lifts. However, mechanical plan sheets along with product vendor sheets for the lift systems have been uploaded for this permit. Mechanical plan sheets indicate some temporary mechanical air filtering work to be performed using Negative Air Machines (does not require a permit), but also indludes information suggesting field modifications to duct systems and some new duct work is proposed as part of this project. Since the contractor is not responsible for this work, a separate permit will be required for mechancal work as decribed on the mechanical plan sheets. CSS also indicated the installation of lift equipment is not in their scope of work either and is he responsibility of the vendor's contractor. Installation of lift equipment involves modifications to structural concrete floors, albeit it what appears to be insignificant work. However, that structural work also requires permit. Based on our understanding the scope of work is correct on the permit application, we will need to remove electrical, mechanical, vendor and other plan sheets from this permit so it can be issued. Separate permtis will be required as noted above. I need confirmation of this approach and need to reach out to the hospital PM to tell them they need to get additional permits.
