There is a permit in our system for a seawall on this property. If there is a seawall, you must show the dock location on the outside of the seawall. When no seawall is installed on the property, a walkway (not to exceed 6’ wide) must be installed from the property to the property line (where the boat house/dock must be located. You cannot install the dock on the property, it must be located outside of the property line (as if there was a seawall). There is a utility easement (the red dotted line you see on your site plan) on the inside of the entire property where no improvements (except for the walkway – which can cross through) are allowed. 3. The proposed boat house/dock cannot exceed 12’ into the waterbody from the property line/seawall (a 1’ cantilever is allowed as well). 4. The roof cannot exceed 12’ projection (13’ if you are installing a cantilever walkway) into the waterbody. It can project NO FURTHER into the can than the dock. 5. Roof must be noted to match color and material of the primary residence. 6. Site plan must show setbacks of proposed boat house/dock to adjacent property lines. |
