Note: THIS IS A REINSPECTION ADDED ON 5/20/2021 1:12:14 PM The patch work material appears to be a cold patch asphalt. The material does not appear to have been compacted properly. The material is deficient volume, leaving a depression. The corrective work would include removing the installed material, priming the asphalt with asphalt tack, laying hot mix asphalt at 2 inch lifts and mechanically compacting each lift. 5/28/21 - *Asphalt checked with a probe is not 'Cold Patch'. However, the asphalt when patched must have been on the truck much longer than allowed and the asphalt is deteriorating all over the road. Needs repatched with hot patch. *There are also two road patch repairs at the end of the turn lane into Market Avenue that needs repatched. The sub base does not appear to have been compacted enough and the patches have become elongated pot holes. *Identification posts from St Rd 100 to Market place all have major bare earth areas that need to be sodded to prevent washout into the drainage ditch. *Pile of dirt and stones left at the NE entrance to the Town Center needs removed and sodded. *The vacant land on the SE corner of Market Ave and Belle Terre has a pile (roughly 3-4 yards of misc dirt, rock and stones left from the construction work. This too needs to be removed. *There is a pile of dirt between the sidewalk and Market Avenue with cones on top that need removed. *There are 4 DOT signs left behind on the SE corner of Market and Belle Terre that also need removed.
