| Note: THIS IS A REINSPECTION THIS IS A REINSPECTION THIS IS A REINSPECTION Old shingles left on rear eave area. The shingles at the eaves of the entire perimeter were placed over top of the existing gutter guards and are not adhereing to starter strip. Remove gutter guards and install shingles as per manufatures specs. And reinstall gutter guards properly. Of provide manufactures specs on how to install new shingle on existing Gutter guards. Replace all broken edge hip and ridge shingle. Replace all broken and torn shingles. 9/16/21 The gutter gaurds have been removed however the bottom layers of shingles that have been installed to cover the void is not allowing the shingles to properly seal and are not lapped and installed or nailed as per manufactures specs. Have manufacturer send a revision worksheet to the building dept. allowing the current installation of the shingles. Or remove. Lap and install as per manufacturer specs. 10/14/21 The shingles that have been installed to correct the first improper installation are still not layererd correctly. The drip edge in certian areas is causing a cup at the eaves. Multiple shingle have been torn during the work. Due to the improper Starting of the shingles at the eave area which has created imporper lapping of the first 4 rows Roof will need to be demoed down to roof decking and redone Or subbmitt a manufacture letter to the building department stating the existing installation is correct. And replace all torn shingles. | |||
