The ‘location’ of the new unit should also be specified. Please upload the necessary information for review. Residential HVAC Change-Outs (Like for like) September 9, 2021 Effective Immediately AHRI (Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration Institute) will no longer be a required submittal for residential HVAC Change-Out permit applications. The AHRI must be at the job site for the inspector upon inspection. The job description when submitting the permit application should read "HVAC - like for like tonnage" (Do not include the Seer and Tonnage or Brand of unit). Mini-Splits will continue to require the submittal of Energy Calculations with the permit application for plan review. Permits that are currently in the plan review HOLD status will need to be resolved before the permit can be issued. |
