Please correct on plans. 2. MOT revision 1. At Taco Bell location, Palm Coast Parkway is a three lane one-way roadway. Current MOT shown applies to two-lane, two-way roadways. 3. Standard Paving Repair Detail. Revise to Asphaltic Concrete Surface is 5-1/2 inch minimum structural coarse (compacted) SP-12.5 / three compacted layers minimum; 1-1/2" minimum compaction layer. 4. MOT Revision 2. A standard MOT detail will not be adequate for this permit. It is inferred that this operation is expecting to close a lane on Palm Coast Parkway in order to set up equipment to bore toward Taco Bell. Provide a site specific MOT detail showing the signage and traffic control. (Provide the FDOT standards that are being referenced in addition.) Site specific conflicts are an eastbound left turn lane 50 feet east of the work zone. Does that westbound left turn lane stay open or does it close? Cypress Point Parkway traffic signal is 600 feet to the east. What signing and coning will be erected to make all traffic from all approaches aware of your lane closure? 5. Please advise if you are expecting that roadway repairs to Palm Coast Parkway are probable or unlikely for this project. Please advise if lane closure of Palm Coast Parkway is potential. 6. MOT Advice 1. When permit is issued, road closure will be limited to one lane of Palm Coast Parkway maximum; road intrusion hours (coning, machines in roadway) will be limited to 9 am to 1:30 pm. You may erect all signing same day prior to 9am. You may work on shoulder after signing is in place prior to 9 am. 7. MOT Advice 2. When permit is issued and a lane closure is part of the operation, permit will require that contractor provide message boards placed 7 days in advance of the road closure date.
