There is more work than stimply a stucco / lathing permit. This is a structural (wind) parapet wall. Name licensed roofing contractor on permit for roofing repairrs associated with this parapet wall re-costruction. Provide Roofing Worksheet and Florida Product approval numbers for roofing underlayment and roofing tilles. What is behind this parapet wall? Is there a cricket or saddle that diverts roof drainage around it? It appears, there is, based on one of othe pictures. If present, is repair work necessary? If so, please add picture showing the cricket and damage. If no cricket present, one needs to be provided now. FBCB 1507.3, FBCR 903.2.2. If new construction, provide design, construction and attachment details. Either way, more informatino is needed. Engineering may be required. This parapet wall will need to be re-constructed exactly as initiallly constructed. Are these studs continuous from below? From the second floor - floor sheating? A balloon wall from the slab below? We are going to add a status inspection before beginning repair work so you and the inspector can look at the proposed work together. If the wall cannot be reconstructed as original, engineering will be required. Provide non-combustible parapet coping detail and material specs. R903.3. Manufacturer's Specification plan sheet indicates both stucco and EIFS details. Which is it? Stucco or EIFS? If EIFS, provide complete manufacturrer's details for proposed EIFS system with drainage. Provide Florida Product Approval Number (panel walls). A single sheet, generic (non brand specific) is not acceptable. EIFS componants cannot be mixed and matched - a complete manufacturer's system must be provided. How is this system going to be adapted to join existing exteior finish?. Please provide details. R703.9.2. If stucco, provide detils per R703.7 and remove references and details for EIFS. | |||
