Are LVL’s to be used as Ceiling Joist or will the 2 x 4 be used? Provide size and spacing of proposed ceiling joist. 5. Simpson HUC410Z is called-out to attach proposed beam to existing structure. Per the manufacture, this connector is to be used with (4) 2 x 10’s. Plans call for (2) 2 x 12. Revise the connector for the type of proposed construction. (Repeat Comment) 6. Simpson H2.5 is called-out for Rafter to Ridge connector. As mentioned previously, this connector is not for this application. See the proposed manufacture for the correct connector required. 7. Section for post at roof, post and footing shows the proposed beam to notched into the post. As per previous comment, the notch is greater than 50 percent of the post. Resubmission calls for a Simpson HUC412. Per Simpson the HUC412 is mounted to the beam. Provide which is correct and revise plans to show the correct attachment method is to be used.

Per the manufacture, this connector is to be used with (4) 2 x 10’s. Plans call for (2) 2 x 12. Revise the connector for the type of proposed construction. 6.
