"THE LICENSED ARCHITECT OR REGISTERED ENGINEER SHALL BE PERMITTED TO SEND HER OR HIS DULY AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE TO TEH SITE TO PERFORM THE NECESSARY INSPECTIONS PROVIDED ALL REQUIRED WRITTEN REPORTS ARE PREPARED BY AND BEAR TEH SEAL OF TEH SPECIAL INSPECTOR AND ARE SUBMITTED TO THE ENFORCEMENT AGENCY." INDIVIDUAL INSPECTION REPORTS ARE NOT SIGNED AND SEALED BY THE SPECIAL INSPECTOR. A COVER LETTER IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE SUBSTITUTION. RESUBMIT ALL THRESHOLD INSPECTION REPORTS SIGNED AND SEALED BY THE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER OF RECORD / SPECIAL INSPECTOR IN CONFORMANCE WITH FLORIDA STATUTE 553.79. Some of the inspection reports list inspection type as "Building" and others list inspection type as "threshold". The word "Threshold" by itself or in combination with the word "Building" shall be used to identify all threshold inspection types. 8. NEW COMMENT. Some of the inspection reports list the inspection result as "pass" and some list the result as "complete". The word "complete" shall be removed from inspection reports and replaced with "pass" or "approved" or some similar affirming language. All the older monolithic foundation reports need to be revised with a file name to reflect "threshold" - same as those uploaded on 2/8/24 do. All of the older reports must also indicate threshold inspection in the body of the report - same as those uploaded on 2/8/24 do. 2. All the monolithic foundation reports, including those uploaded on 2/8/24, must be signed and sealed by a Florida licensed professorial engineer who is also authorized to be a Special Inspector by the Professional Engineer Licensing Board. You will need to include documentation showing the Professional Engineer is an approved Special inspector. F.S. 553.79 (5) (c) and 553.79 (5) (d). 3.
