Report submitted indicates root fibers and silt should be cleared to 24 inches. Provide amended geotechnical report to include the information below. • Specifications for the preparation of the site prior to placement of compacted fill material. • Specifications for material to be used as compacted fill. • Test methods to be used to determine the maximum dry density and optimum moisture content of the material used as compacted fill. • The maximum allowable thickness of each lift of compacted fill material. • Field test method for determining the in-place dry density of the compacted fill. • Minimum acceptable in-place dry density expressed as a percentage of the maximum dry density determine in accordance with the third bullet above. • Number and frequency of field tests required to determine compliance with the sixth bullet above. After the geotechnical report is approved by the City of Palm Coast, then the engineer must provide a signed and sealed letter certifying the entire process was completed in accordance with the engineer’s specifications. The engineer’s letter must include a certification statement in accordance with the Florida Administrative Code 61G15-18.011 (4).
