The bearing wall detail needs to show connection of 2x6, 2x10 headers. number of jack and king studs required, hold down anchors, ect. The 3 - 1/2" Psl post, provide detaild of type of anchor to slab to be installed. and type of post to truss anchor to be used. AHJ 2. Plan sheet 1. The rear exit wall where it shows a 2 x 10 header the wall according to the truss packet engineering is a bearing wall. Please show this wall as a bearing wall on the floor plan. At the bearing walls please show location to find wall details. FBC 107.2.1 3. Plan sheet 1. The exterior walls at the rear exit door are 2x4 shear walls. Provide shear wall details. Include p.t. bottom plate fastening, stud to plate anchoring / nailing. Type of plywood and nailing patterns to be used. type of 2x studs to be used syp etc. FBC- 107.2.4 4. Plan sheet 1. The fire wall finish dimension shows a 4" finish on the floor plan. The detail of the fire wall to the right shows a 2x6" p.t. bottom plate with staggered 2x4.s at 12" o.c. The UL # U309 is not the correct detail for this type of fire wall construction. Please use the UL that matches the construction of the wall. Please list if the fire wall is bearing or non bearing. With the updated fire wall please provide bottom plate to slab connection. Double top plate to truss connection. FBCR - 302 5. Plan sheet 1. Add a wall legend on the floor plan showing the different types of wall. Shear, Cmu, Non Bearing, and bearing. As per AHJ 6. Plan sheet 2. Load bearing footing at the garage missing width, depth and rebar required. Provide depth and width of footing and rebar on sheet 2 or provide a cut showing page and detail number to locate the load bearing footing details. FBC 170.2.1 7. Plan sheet 2. Covered lanai the bearing wall area. Remove the note showing builder option as this footing neds to be a bearing wall footing. due to the wall above. Add detail in this location also as listed in note 6. 8. Truss engineering packet shows the truss bearing points all landing on double top plate 2x construction. Please update the bearing points to the type of wall the trusses are bearing on. Majority of the truss ends bear on a CMU wall. This will ensure truss plates are added at the factory in the correct locations. 9 The product approval page and the roofing worksheet. Update all approval numbers after the decimal point and the current revision year number. | |||
