I am seeing a lot of typical wood framing sections, details and schedules on Plan Sheets S401, S402, S403 and S500C; however, it appears these plan sheets do not contain specific information for this post-beam open pavilion structure. Am I overlooking applicable details? For instance, I am not seeing column footings, column attachments (embedment or anchors at footings), column specifications, beams, column-beam connections, roof framing plan (plan view), hold-downs, roof underlayment and coverings, flashings and other roof details, knee walls / framing materials and details for gilling enclosures, column masonry wainscotting enclosures, masonry sections and details for grill enclosures and tall wall with television, etc. 2. The same for the pavilion foundation. I see several sections on Plan Sheets S301, S302 and S303 including a pilaster detail but I can’t trace any of them back specifically to the pavilion. It appears plan sheets are missing with sections and section view call-outs. 3. Provide Site Plan for Grilling Pavilion. Site Plan to show accessible exterior route across site, from all accessible parking spaces, accessible building entrances and accessible dwelling units to the Pavilion, maneuverability clearances, accessible slopes (cross and running) etc. 4. Duplicate plan sheets uploaded. Duplicates have been marked “REJECTED”. No action needed. FYI. 5. I am not going through the Sheet Index again. Please reconcile and make the Sheet Index Plan Sheets match those uploaded to the permit record. Add and remove as necessary. You may be asking why this is necessary. This is a problem when plans for an entire project are co-mingled. It slows inspectors down in the field considerably when they have to filter through plan sheets not relative to the specific building they are inspecting and plans that are listed but not present. 6. Engineered truss plans not provided, deferred submittal not requested. 7. Provide accessibility details for grill use including approach clearances, maneuverability and reach ranges. Is one of the grills usable by persons with disabilities? Is there any fixed furnishings intended in or under the pavilion? IF so, provide accessibility details for those as well. Plan Sheet A211 Plan Sheet A211 is incorrectly identified in permit record as A211.1 Plan Sheet G-114 1. Florida Summary & Applicable Codes Section, change all references from the International Codes with Florida Amendments to 2023 Florida Building Code-Building, etc. Remove references to Codes that do not apply to the trash compactor permit. Plan Sheet S001 1. Change reference from ASCE7-16 to ASCE7-22. The EOR is respectfully requested to check all calculations for compliance with ASCE7-22. 2. Remove all references to the General Building Code and International Building Codes. Remove references to Florida Building Code Amendments and replace with 2023 Florida Building Code-Building. 4. Provide design soil bearing capacity. Provide source of soil bearing capacity. If based on a geotechnical investigation report, then cite the reporting firm and report number. Plan Sheet S002 and S004 1. Remove all references to International Codes and replace with 2023 Florida Building Code-Building.
