Provide geotechnical investigation report in accordance with Section 1803.2. Report to be conducted per Sections 1803.3 through 1803.5. Completed report shall comply with Section 1803.6. Report shall be signed and sealed by a Florida licensed professional engineer in accordance with F.S. 471.025 and Florida Administrative Code Sections 61G15-30.001 and 61G15-23.001 through .005. If report determines unsuitable sub-surface conditions or unsuitable soil conditions, then engineer shall provide a soils mitigation plan in order to ensure soils are suitable to receive the building's foundation. Report to include fill and compaction specifications and engineering inspection requirements. At conclusion of any soils mitigation work, engineer will be required to certify work was performed according to plans. Be advised, if the geotechnical report reveals any unsuitable soils and / or subsurface conditions, the first inspection for this permit (1st Rough / Underground Plumbing) will be HELD until such time as a report by the geotechnical engineer is submitted to the Building Division documenting that the soil mitigation work has been completed according to the engineer's plans and is now suitable for construction. Report must also include a record of all required compaction testing.
