On the Site Plan requested by Zoning, show the location of the 100 year floodplain. R322.1 2. Provide deck minimum live and dead loads. For decks covered with wood sheathing, durarock and lightweight concrete, provide dead load design that includes the actual p.s.f. weight of those materials. R301.4, R301.5, Table R301.5. 3. Provide minimum design loads for guard and guard inf-fill components. R301.4, R301.5, Table R301.5 4. Provide material specifications for membrane water moisture barrier. If materials require cant strip at intersection with vertical walls of home, provide cant strip detail in conjunction with the item below. Moisture permeable decks exposed to the weather must be separated from wood deck framing and sheathing by an impervious moisture barrier per R317.1 No. 6 or all wood must be pressure treated. You will need to prove the product you propose meets this criteria. 5. Provide flashing detail for attachment of decks including membrane water moisture barriers at attachment to home. 6. Provide material specifications for water vapor barrier at stuccoed wall indicating the barrier complies with R703.7.3. Water resistive barrier must be equivalent to two layers of Grade D paper. You will need to prove the product you propose meets this criteria. 7. Engineer to provide certification statement on plans indicating he has inspected the deck columns, beams and footings and certifies they are suitable for use with the new decks and increased live and dead loads which are greater than the existing decks.
