The original site plan and permit appeared to be for an entry sign on the south side of Sawmill Branch Boulevard at US-1. The address you requested is for this location. The plans uploaded for this review show two sign easements on the north side of Sawmill Branch Boulevard and are on the Freedom at Sawmill 7B plat. If this is for the original application: South side of Sawmill Branch Boulevard at US-1, this sign is on the Sawmill Branch Phase 6 plat which has been resubmitted and does not have a sign tract or easement in that location so the original comment is repeated. REPEAT COMMENT (reworded): The proposed location for this sign appears to be on the south side of Sawmill Branch Boulevard at US-1 which is on the Sawmill Branch Phase 6 plat and does is not located in a signage tract identified on that plat. (09-26-24: A sign permit cannot be approved unless/until the tract identifying the purpose is for signage has been established. The Preliminary Plat and Civil Plans for Sawmill Branch Phase 6 (ap. no. 5829) do not identify a signage tract in the proposed location.) You need to submit a site plan clearly showing the road ways, location and setbacks of this proposed sign and it must be within a sign tract or easement. (and must have the correct address.)

But as mentioned in the last two hold comments, this sign appears to be on Sawmill Branch Phase 6. REPEAT COMMENT: The proposed location for this sign appears to be on the south side of Sawmill Branch Boulevard at US-1 which is on the Sawmill Branch Phase 6 plat and does is not located in a signage tract identified on that plat. If number 1 above is the correct location, this is not on the Freedom of Sawmill plat, which will be the Sawmill Branch Phase 7(b) Plat. This sign appears to be on the Sawmill Branch Phase 6 plat which is currently in for review. A signage tract has not been identified in the proposed location, so a sign would not be allowed there. 3. The address is incorrect. You will need to verify the correct location for this sign, ensure it is permitted per plat in that location, obtain a correct address for the sign prior to resubmitting this permit and include a revised permit application with the correct address. 4. Sign height and area appear to be OK. 5. On the submitted site plan, the northerly sign needs to show the setback from the nearest portin of the site to the property line.
