Plan sheets need to be digitally signed, sealed and verifiable by a licensed Florida PE. F.S.471.025 2. Reference FBC 2023 code cycle on plans 107.2.1 3. Provide foundation details for posts. 107.2.1 4. Provide gate latches and hardware details at public access gates that meet reach ranges based on direction of approach (both sides of gate) and that require no grasping, pinching or turning of the wrist. Sections 308, 309.4. 404.2.7. 5. If gates are to have spring hinges and / or gate closers, provide details in accordance with Section 404.2.8, 404.2.8.1, 404.2.8.2 and 404.2.9. 6. Show landing dimensions and areas on each side of each gate. Slopes at landings at gates not to exceed 2% in any direction. Landings to be as wide as gates plus clearance beyond latch side and 48 inches in the direction of travel based on forward approach. 7. Show required maneuvering clearances at gates including minimum clear dimension beyond latch side of gates on both sides of gates based on direction of approach and swing of gates. . 8. Show minimum clear opening width at each gate of 32 inches. Section 404.2.3. 9. Provide gate detail indicating gate surfaces qwithin 10 inches above the ground to have smooth surfaces on the push side of gate for the full width of gates. Section 404.2.10 10. Provide details showing means of entrapment protection per UL 325
