Note: 2/26/25 RECEIVED A CALL FROM POOL CM WHO STATED THAT THEY HAD DRAGGED A TIRE THRU THE CULVERT TO CLEAN IT OUT OF DIRT/DEBRIS AND THAT THERE WAS A LITTLE BIT OF MUD THAT THEY DID NOT REMOVE. I TOLD HIM I WOULD TAKE A LOOK AT IT AND DETERMINE IF IT WAS TO COPC STANDARDS. UPON ARRIVING I FOUND THAT THE RIGHT SIDE WAS NOT IN COMPLIANCE TO THE COPCC STANDARD OF RETURNED TO AS GOOD OR BETTER CONDITION. THE SWALE HAS A SMALL TRENCH AND IS COVERED WITH MUD ATOP THE SOD NOT MEETING OUR SWALE PLAN DIAGRAM REQUIREMENTS. THE EDGE OF PAVEMENT SOD IS HIGHER THAN ALLOWED BY THE COPC STANDARD OF 2" BELOW GRADE COMPACTED DIRT AND SOD TO FLUSH WITH EOP TO ALLOW ROAD DRAINAGE TO FLOW UNIMPEDED INTO SWALE SYSTEM. THE CONTRACTOR ALSO SPREAD DIRT FROM THE CULVERT INTO THE MEDIAN. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO MAKE THE REQUIRED CORRECTIONS TO THE COPC STANDARDS BEFORE ROW FINAL PASSAGE, REPAIR SWALE CORRECTLY, REMOVE MUD/DEBRIS AND GRADE SOD TO ALLOW DRAINGE TO HAVE POSITIVE FLOW FROMLEFT TO RIGHT.
