Note: From Subject Received Size Categories Ms. Jordan Myers, CFM Coquina Shores Off-Site Utilities 11:37 AM 25 MB Myself, Brice, Brandon, and Larry were out at the Pre-Con for offsite utilities for Coquina Shores this morning. We were shown the location of the proposed off-site utilities and were extremely concerned with their location inside the wetlands; please see attached photos. There is a very large cypress tree in close proximity as well as a substantial amount of standing water from the swamp. Brice brought up that maintenance of the utilities at this location and the ability to identify a leak with the amount of existing standing water would be extremely problematic. The impacts to the wetlands associated with the Conservation FLUM in the area is also a concern. They are supposed to start work on this tomorrow, however with these issues brought to light I think it is necessary to delay and regroup to discuss possible other locations for these utilities.
