CONTRACTOR AGREED TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS AND TOLD HOMEOWNER HE WOULD HAVE SOMEONE ON SITE TOMORROW, 11/04/25. I AGREED TO RETURN TO THE JOB SITE WHEN CALLED WITH ADVANCE NOTICE TO PERFORM A RE-INSPECTION. LATER, THE HOMEOWNER SENT AN EMAIL TO THE CITY (JACQUELINE GONZALEZ, CBDBG COORDINATOR) AND INDICATED SHE INTENDS TO DENY THE CONTRACTOR ENTRY TO PERFORM THE NECESSARY WORK TO CLOSE OUT THE PERMIT. THE HOMEOWNER STATED SEVERAL DEMANDS IN HER CORRESPONDENCE WITH THE CITY AND FURTHER INDICATED SHE INTENDS TO TAKE THE CONTRACTOR TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT UNLESS THEY AGREE TO HER DEMANDS. THIS PERMIT IS CLOSED BY THE CBO BASED ON THE HOMEOWNERS STATED REFUSAL TO ALLOW ENTRY BY THE CONTRACTOR TO COMPLETE THE CORRECTION NOTED ABOVE. A COPY OF THE HOMEOWNERS EMAIL IS ATTACHED TO THIS PERMIT.
