Provide gate latches and hardware details at public access gates that meet reach ranges based on direction of approach (both sides of gate) and that require no grasping, pinching or turning of the wrist. Sections 308, 309.4. 404.2.7. 5. If gates are to have spring hinges and / or gate closers, provide details in accordance with Section 404.2.8, 404.2.8.1, 404.2.8.2 and 404.2.9. 6. Show landing dimensions and areas on each side of each gate. Slopes at landings at gates not to exceed 2% in any direction. Landings to be as wide as gates plus clearance beyond latch side and 48 inches in the direction of travel based on forward approach. 7. Show required maneuvering clearances at gates including minimum clear dimension beyond latch side of gates on both sides of gates based on direction of approach and swing of gates. . 8.
