The City of Palm Coast is inviting residents to take part in its Dirt Donation Program, a community-focused effort designed to help homeowners improve drainage on their properties.
Free dirt will be available for pickup on Friday, June 12, and Saturday, June 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. each day, while supplies last. Residents may receive up to 5 cubic yards of dirt. The pickup site is located adjacent to 4283 Old Kings Road North, with message boards directing traffic. City staff will be on-site to assist with loading dirt into resident-provided vehicles.
Eligibility and requirements include the following:
• Open to Palm Coast residents only (ID required).
• Dirt must be used at the listed address and may not be resold.
• Residents are responsible for spreading the dirt.
• A grading permit may be required if machinery is used for spreading.
• Residents must certify that use of the dirt will not create flooding, erosion, or drainage issues and must agree to hold the City harmless from related claims or damages.
A required form must be completed and brought to the pickup site. It can be downloaded at palmcoast.gov/stormwater.
This program provides residents with a helpful way to address property drainage needs while supporting the City’s broader stormwater management goals.
