The 13th Annual City of Palm Coast Tree Lighting Ceremony took place on November 30, 2024, and proved to be yet another magical evening for the community. With over 5,000 in attendance, residents and visitors alike gathered at Central Park to officially usher in the holiday season.

The event featured the arrival of Santa Claus on a Palm Coast Fire Engine, who helped the Palm Coast Mayor and City Council, and Rotary Club of Flagler County, countdown to the lighting of the spectacular tree. Afterward, attendees captured memorable photos with Santa while children enjoyed creating crafts at the Parks and Recreation booth.

"We are so proud of our city staff and their hard work in bringing this beloved tradition to life year after year," said Acting City Manager Lauren Johnston. “Seeing the smiles on everyone's faces and the sense of community these events foster makes Palm Coast truly special.”

The Tree Lighting Ceremony also marked the beginning of the Rotary Club's 19th Annual Fantasy Lights Festival. The enchanting light displays, featuring 50+ animated creations, will illuminate Central Park Lake every evening from 6:30 to 9 p.m. through December 30 2024. Admission is free, though donations are welcome to support Rotary’s service efforts.

But the holiday fun doesn’t stop here! Palm Coast residents can continue celebrating at the Starlight Parade on December 14, 2024. Businesses and organizations interested in participating can click here for more information.

Additionally, those looking to plan their holiday activities can explore the full calendar of events at palmcoast.gov/events, as the Fantasy Lights Festival and other holiday-themed happenings will keep the festive spirit alive throughout December.

The City of Palm Coast is grateful to everyone who attended the Tree Lighting Ceremony and looks forward to continuing the holiday festivities together!
