Mark your calendars for Celebrate Trails Day, Rails to Trails Conservancy’s annual springtime celebration of America’s trails, on Saturday, April 25, 2026. The City of Palm Coast, in partnership with Palm Coast and the Flagler Beaches Tourism Development Council, invites residents and trail lovers to celebrate from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Waterfront Park while exploring the community’s extensive trail network.
With more than 130 miles of scenic trails throughout Palm Coast and Flagler County, the event highlights the important role trails play in connecting people to parks, neighborhoods, and the area's natural beauty.
Guests attending the event can enjoy interactive booths hosted by local organizations, family-friendly activities such as cornhole, chalk art, a scavenger hunt, and educational displays on local wildlife and plants.
“We’re excited to welcome the community out to Waterfront Park to celebrate our incredible trail network,” said Brittany McDermott, Deputy Director of Palm Coast Parks and Recreation. “Palm Coast’s trails connect our parks, neighborhoods, and natural spaces, and Celebrate Trails Day is a great opportunity for residents and visitors to get outside, explore, and learn more about everything our trail network has to offer.”
With 2026 marking both America’s 250th anniversary and Rails to Trails Conservancy’s 40th anniversary, this year’s Celebrate Trails Day is expected to be one of the largest celebrations yet across the country.
Residents are encouraged to bring their friends, family members, and even their furry companions to enjoy a morning outdoors and experience the trails that make Palm Coast a great place to live and explore.
