The Palm Coast City Council voted to approve an amendment to the current monthly meeting schedule for City Council business meetings and workshops, along with some additional City Council policy and procedures changes, which will take effect in February 2025.

Currently, the Council holds three meetings per month: a business meeting at 6 p.m. on the first Tuesday, a workshop at 9 a.m. on the second Tuesday, and a business meeting at 9 a.m. on the third Tuesday. The updated schedule will add a fourth meeting and adjust the start times of some meetings. The first Tuesday will remain a business meeting at 6 p.m., while the second Tuesday workshop will move to 6 p.m. The third Tuesday will continue as a business meeting at 9 a.m., and a new workshop will be held on the fourth Tuesday at 9 a.m.

Proclamations and award presentations for evening business meetings will now begin at 5:30 p.m., 30 minutes prior to the meeting start time. Additionally, public comments on non-agenda items at the beginning and end of each meeting will be limited to 30 minutes. While the revised schedule will officially start on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, it is subject to change due to holidays or other unforeseen circumstances. Residents are encouraged to visit the Palm Coast City Council meeting webpage for the latest schedule and agenda updates.
