The Palm Coast City Council meets regularly to discuss and vote on official City business. These meetings are open to the public, and Palm Coast residents are strongly encouraged to attend. An increase in public engagement helps to build a stronger sense of community, increase valuable discussions, and decrease division.

The City of Palm Coast will host a City Council Retreat focused on aligning priorities, vision, and strategic direction for the next six months.

The following proclamations will be made:
- The City Administration will proclaim April 2026 as Records and Information Management Month.
- The City Administration will proclaim May 3-9, 2026, as Public Service Recognition Week
- The City Administration will proclaim May 4-10, 2026, as Maternal Mental Health Week.
Presentations
The following presentations will be made:
- The City Administration will present Certificates of Graduation to students of the Spring 2026 City of Palm Coast Citizens Academy Class.

Consent
The following items will be presented for consent:
- Parks and Recreation will present a resolution to approve a Facility Use Agreement with Palm Coast Baseball, LLC.
- The Utility Department will present a resolution to approve a work order with McKim & Creed, Inc. for the Water Treatment Plant #2 automatic transfer switch 1,2,3 replacement
- The Utility Department will present a resolution to approve a work order with Connect Consulting, Inc. for the evaluation, limited rehabilitation, and pump replacement of Well SW-28
- The Public Works Department will present a resolution to approve piggybacking the Sourcewell Contract #080124 with Ford Motor Company, with purchases facilitated through Gary Yeomans Ford, for the procurement of OEM Vehicle Parts and Supplies on as-needed basis.
Ordinances Second Road
The following ordinances will be presented:
- The Finance Department will present an ordinance to repeal and replace Chapter 2, Article 1, Division 3 of the City of Palm Coast Code of Ordinances. The Finance Department seeks approval to amend the City’s Purchasing Policy, which sets the rules for how the City buys goods and services. After a 2025 risk assessment, staff reviewed the policy and recommended updates such as adding definitions, adjusting purchasing limits, allowing more cooperative purchasing options, and creating a process for suspending or banning vendors.
Public Comments will be opened at the beginning and end of the workshop in accordance with Section 286.0114, Florida Statutes, and pursuant to the City Council’s Meeting Policies and Procedures. Each speaker will approach the podium, provide his/her name, and may speak for up to 3 minutes.
Please note that proclamations are scheduled for this specific meeting and will begin at 5:30 p.m. inside City Hall. Additionally, public comments on non-agenda items will be limited to 30 minutes at the beginning and end of each meeting. This schedule is subject to change due to holidays or other unforeseen circumstances. Residents are encouraged to visit the Palm Coast City Council meeting webpage for the latest schedule and agenda updates.
In addition to City Council meetings and workshops, residents are encouraged to participate in a variety of public meetings—including advisory boards, committees, and special sessions—taking place over the next week. Attending in person, tuning in live on the City’s YouTube channel, or reviewing meeting materials online are all great ways to stay informed and engaged in local government.
