The City of Palm Coast invites residents to kick off the summer season safely at its annual Pool Safety Day on Saturday, May 23, at the Palm Coast Aquatics Center.
This family-friendly event combines fun in the sun with important water safety education, giving attendees the opportunity to enjoy the pool while learning essential skills to stay safe in and around the water. Activities will include interactive pool games, mini learn-to-swim sessions, life jacket safety education, and live demonstrations from the Palm Coast Fire Department.
“Pool Safety Day is a great way for families to enjoy the start of summer while reinforcing the importance of water safety,” said Brittany McDermott, Deputy Director of Parks and Recreation. “Our team is trained in CPR, AED use, and lifesaving techniques, and we’re proud to share that knowledge with our community in a fun and engaging way.”
Pool Safety Day will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Palm Coast Aquatics Center, located at 339 Parkview Drive. Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for seniors and youth ages 17 and under.
Residents are encouraged to bring their families, learn valuable safety tips, and make a splash while preparing for a safe summer.
